KamCheng Brotherhood

Proposed Kamcheng Buka Puasa on 20th August 2011

Salam kawan kawan semua,

Hopefully everyone is well, and not too late to wish everyone Selamat Berpuasa.

Can I propose to have our Annual Kamcheng Buka Puasa on Saturday 20th August, and if I may further propose to have it at my humble abode in Twin Palms, Sg Long, Kajang?

Please let me know if this date is OK for everyone. Because the next weekend tu dah dekat sangat dengan Raya so I suspect ada orang yang dah balik kampung.

Iftar 2006

Alhamdulillah, Iftar 2006 went well at my residence at Parkville Garden Townhouse in Sunway Damansara. Everyone turned up except Lal, Fiqar & Edrin. Lal had to work whilst Fiqar & Edrin balik kampung (not together, mind you).

I would like to thank everyone who came and made it such a memorable event, with Azad leading the Doa Selamat, the kids who had so much fun running in circles, the bapak of kids who played bunga api.

Food was aplenty. Let me try to recall: Nasi Tomato, Dalca & Ayam Masak merah, murtabak, satay Kajang Hj Samuri, Chocolate Cake, Murtabak, Lasagna, Macaroni Goreng, Ayam Percik, Chicken Wings & a few other dishes.

We started mentekedarah around 7pm, which was preceded by a Doa Selamat led by Azad at 6.45pm. All our portable tanks were almost full by 9pm, when which a group photo was taken and the kids & their guardians adjourned to the garden to main bunga api.

It was so much fun indeed, and at the end of the day, before falling asleep my wife said "It's nice to see you so happy".... That sums it all up.
